Christmas time is coming
So, what are your plans? I've got my lights up, christmas
cd in the player and I'm getting my tree next weekend.
I'll be having turkey dinner with the parents on 'the day'.
Is it too early for a christmassy thread...nahhh.

Some people had already started setting up the tree in the beginning of November
Into my house, the tree usually appears in the 20-23rd day?? but stays untill it's almost February... my parents are too lazy... now it would also be a good time to get it because the snow has already melted away in an early spring, and the tree doesn't need to be melted inside. Yup almost all the snow is gone now

Yeah, the sudden loss of snow does kinda suck
I've gotten into christmas mood by buying everyone's presents way ahead of time. I feel like trying to make some christmassy foodstuff, but am a bit too busy with a bunch of exams coming up. They make us sit two on 21st December.. way late. Then I guess I'll head to our lovely old cottage, relatives and traditional Xmas.

I wish I had a loss of snow, its been -25 out for the past week. Rather cold.
When I was little my mom would read me books about Christmas. I always wondered why everyone was smiling. She would say, "It's Christmas!"
When I grew older my mom would ask me, "Why are you not joyous and gleeful?" I would say, "Christmas is a holiday where people force smiles so they can forget about all the debt mass commercialization caused them to incur."
My mom never asked me again.

"mass commercialization". That's a pun, right?
Attack the holiday's weak point for massive commercialization.

Not for me.... I'm a cold weather person, but not much into the snow. This is supposed to be the rainiest/snowiest year on record for the Pacific Coast, so it will be interesting. It *actually* snowed out on the coast....
Haven't seen the sun in a while....

Make sure to conserve perception.
For a few days it has been -32c(with the windchill factor) and
we've had lots of snow here.It sucks.I hate being cold. But luckily
it is supposed to warm up over the next few days.

This has been a bad month- It even snowed out on the coast!!
Hmpf, Christmas in about 24 days now. I haven't started with the decorations, yet.
Christmas is a nice holiday, but overating in my opinion. In recent years it has become commercialized to the point that it has become kitschy. Isn't it really about family, hope, and spiritual fulfillment? Or an I being overpsychoanalytical? (longest word I have used today)
"Attack the holiday's weak point for massive commercialization."
That was hilarious! Putting that gripe in the context of a game quote is awesome.
I'm very happily surprised to see that some corporations are being more sensitive this year. At the store I work they didnt start the Christmas music until after Thanksgiving...last year it was in the beginning of November, and before that the beginning of October.
Jeez Wal-Mart (the Empire of Evil) had Santa out in September.
Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller
