Testing a new tile...
Okay, I was looking up textures and I came across this one that looked good (in my mind). I decided to see what it would look like as a tile. So I layed it out. Pieces fit together good. Okay. Then I tried putting other dink graphics on it to see if it would go along with the other graphics. So here 's my end result. I think it turned out nicely. What do you think?
Add: Bleh...how'd it get small?
Add: Fixed link here as well. Not small anymore

It's kinda hard to see, but it looks pretty cool. Are you planning on releasing the tile set?
It's a bit hard to judge, it is really small. But for as far as I can see it looks really good.
Release it, definitly.

Looks great... Can you post a larger picture pls?
It was somehow shrunken by Photobucket, so I'm not sure if I can make it bigger or how to do so if it is possible. I may release a new tileset, depending on if I find other good textures that fit in. I'm currently looking around and have found a couple of sites that have textures you can download for free. So with me luck I have variations of this one texture from 250x250 (25 tiles) to 50x50 (1 tile).
Add: I figured out how to make it bigger. Try this link instead.

Yepp, it looks awesome, but release it so we can download and see how it is on even BIGGER size
That's a really cool tile! I love it!

Okay. Another thing I was messing with. Dink on the street It's not that good and it'll require a bit of work to use in a DMOD. Here it is. Not really expecting much out of this, but it could add a new feel. Even better if there were graphics to go along with the tiles.
Add: I forgot to mention. They will only look like this in truecolor mode. That is another downside.

Looks really good! Please release it, or at least tell us where to find that site.
That one looks okay. No plans for any dmod that'd use it, but okay nonetheless.

Looks good, but I think it isn't from the right angle.
Due to lack of motivation and other things, like depression, I'm giving up this 'project'. Seeing how I got some positive feedback though, I give you the three sites I was looking at for textures to use as tiles. They are listed below. The ones on these sites will have to be resized and some converted to .bmp in order to work with Dink. I used Irfanview for this.

Note: The grass tile that were in my first 'screenshot' is located on link 2 listed under terrain texture.

It's not complicated at all to do it yourself. The only part that gets complicated is when you want to make it shift to a cliff or something. I have some cutouts of the cliffs (check my iceworld tiles file). As I said, if you want to use them, just save them and convert to .bmp and resize using Irfanview or something. I had them in 200x200 pixels. Good luck to anyone and everyone who wants to use them.
Both of those tiles are really cool. Too bad your not going to make them. They would look so cool in a D-Mod. The first one would be good for like swamp lands, and the street ones would be good for one in which Dink travels to the future and goes into a big city.
Too cool to be done, I guess...
