MMO
Can anyone suggest a good free online browser based mmorpg? I can never find a good one.
Perfect World springs to mind.
Perfect world has to be downloaded. I did say BROWSER based. I would download it if one of the 17 files wasn't over 3000 MB. >_>
Tbh most free MMO are crap or have a hidden fee, like membership or something like that. So if you really are looking for a "good" Mmo you are better of buying one. And Have you tried Runescape?
RunEscape is quite possibly the worst one out there. >_>
lol Run Escape? its RuneScape lol
RUNESCAPE!!
It's the best one, not the worst, you tool
If you're desperate you could try maple story. *dry-retches*

Yes, well I like to call it RunEscape because it sucks and you should "Run! Escape!" from its terrible-ness.

FAIL!
FAIL!
And not in an epic way!
You should Run, Escape from the wrath of the RS High-Levels who inhabit this 'ere Dink Network.
*grabs Staff of Light, Arcane Stream necklace and Ahrim's robes with Infinity Boots, followed by enough runes for Fire Surge*

Look up Dead Frontier. It's a zombie survival MMO, and it just released the 3D version yesterday, all you have to do is install the browser equivalent of a 3D graphics driver and you can open it on your browser anytime.
Word of warning though, Admin wasn't anticipating the server problems that come with player count increasing by a factor of 10. There's some lags with some parts and sometimes it'll disconnect from time to time, though I figure it'll be going smoothly within a week.
Heck, yesterday I could barely get on, today was a million times better but still crappy.

I would recommend Runescape. Sold my account a while back and it got perma-banned. Made profit though.
RunEscape? Hah, I remember when my little brother was addicted to it. Thank goodness he realized how terrible of a game it was, a blessing not many people get. Oh also, he was addicted to it back on the first grade.
adventure quest worlds!
FAIL!
I do indeed have an account for that, but that was before I discovered flash games that were actually fun.
On a side note, I was the one who discovered how to do a backflip and never got a reward.

Runescape's evolved far more in recent months than it used to. The HD Graphics were the beginning.
Personally I blame Mod Mark for the faildates, and thank the current Jagex CEO for how well RS has progressed. I still maintain my Quest Cape even now, with 309 quest points and practically full access to everything everywhere unless my skill levels are too low

Runescape has gone for a ball of shoot ever since Pvp got taken away and they messed up the trade system.
Perhaps to some that's the case, but in my opinion it's still better in certain ways. Personally I never got into the whole PvP thing except for minigames like Castlewars. But content wise the game is ever-expanding. Heck, the Halloween In-Game event they released the other day has one of the best music tracks in the game at this point (again opinion statement).
Mmmm, Halloween event you say? Guess I better go on soon to get the reward.
Got "Zu" and I must say, this looks very good. The problem here is my friggin' graphics card. I actually downloaded this because I wanted to move it to a way better comp later in the year. >_>
I still reckon Runescape rules.
ESPECIALLY NOW!
ESPECIALLY NOW!
I don't like Jagex.
Personally, I don't think Adventure Quest worlds were that bad. I kind of enjoyed playing Dragon Fable. Sure, it wasn't all that exciting, but it did keep me interested when I was bored and had absolutely nothing else to do. I would probably still be playing it every now and then if I hadn't forgotten my passwords and had to start from scratch all the time.
Adventure quests worlds pffft.. I remember playing Dragon fable years ago and loving it. Sadly I forgot my password.
If you are really bored there is always that crappy penguin club game that we all played at some point in our lives...
