Saving Changes - DFarc2 Options
Uhm.... I hope this does not sound too dumb <blush>. Been a dinker for a while now and think it's time I give developing a Dmod a go. I'm using Metatarsal's "An Introduction to DMOD making" and have encountered a problem before I've even started! In Dfarc when choosing Edit - Options there is no "OK" button to press when selecting Show Developer Buttons, so I can't save my changes and begin DMOD developing. Can anyone help an aspiring DMOD developer?
Click the checkbox for "show developer buttons",
The confirm button is below two drop down boxes at the bottom of the preference box, it is marked "Okay" and to the right is "Cancel".
If they're really not there could you please send us a screenshot?

Thanks so much, I've mailed a screenshot to trisn@exemail.au
Some extra info that may be useful - I have Dfarc2 installed that came with latest version of Dink Smallwood. I have uninstalled and reinstalled as well to see if it would fix the prob. but it hasn't. I've also attempted to "pull" the window to make it bigger with no luck. Taken a browse through my windows settings (XP) and haven't found anything out of the ordinary. Haven't expereinced the same prob in any other windows on my notebook.
Would love it if I could resolve this so I can start playing
Thanks in advance if you can help.

Thanks for your message. I am quite surprised, as it isn't actually there! It appears you might have changed the size of system text, or your title bar size, or the buttons. Can you please tell me if resetting these to their default settings (Right click desktop > Properties > Appearance), or changing to the Classic Windows Theme allows it to be seen? Of course, this would have to be a temporary measure as you'd most likely want to change them back.
If re-installing/changing windows appearance didn't do anything, it may be a bug in DFarc 2, and considering it's not often updated you might want to stop using it.
This website contains a new version of DFarc that is more regularly updated. If you scroll down to "MS Windows", you can download DFarc 3 and make sure you get the DLL package as well. Unzip both Zip files into your Dink folder (eg C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood) and run dfarc3.exe. The option to enable developer buttons is in generally the same location. If you don't see the "OK" and "Cancel" buttons, tell me so we can figure out something else.
