The guy with the cute D-Mod.
We live in an age where good releases are rare. They are often greatly prized far more than they used to be, and the authors of these good files often seem to get great praise.

Right now I give Madstalker praise. Water on the bottom of cliffs is such a natural phenomenon (as we see here), yet this tileset is only being made a decade after this thriving (or not) community of old 90's-loving gamers was first created.

He has created this tileset with great skill, and he obviously applied himself very well whilst undergoing the construction process. Each tile lines up, and the conversion from water to cliff is good. However, the water in Dink is not static. It does not stay at the same level. If you watch the water tiles in-game, you will see the level of water randomly rises and lowers. This cliff set has no randomly rising and lowering water levels.

Of course, this is completely controlled by the limited functionality of the Dink engine, but still rather disappointing, as I assume this would cause the tiles to look rather uneven on a screen with rising/lowering water tiles.

Apart from that one little let-down (which isn't exactly too little, mind you), this tileset really was rather impressive.

Love! True love!
I think this is a really good tileset. I tried em out in WDE and they go nicely with everything else. You could make Dink a water slide with these! Or, you could use them to make some cliffs with water around them.

Overall:
The graphics are simple and good, just the way I like them. I give it a 9.
